I'd actually been putting this one off for a while as I couldn't find a location, but I finally did and here we are. Also this is kind of an interlude before I start up on making a series out of this realism thing.

This one took a lot shorter than Termina as OoT's Hyrule field really only has three landmarks: Lon Lon Ranch, Death Mountain and Castle Town, and they're all relatively easy to do. Mostly.

I don't know why I've got everything in the distance, I think it's more believable that way than having stuff right up close.

I like how Lon Lon Ranch ended up with its significantly larger area, and just having a few animals in there gives the place a bit more life.

Castle Town came out fine, not much to comment on with that. I decided to leave the castle in mystery a little and absolutely not because I was lazy and couldn't figure out what to do with it.

My little moment of pride was with Death Mountain, and figuring out how to make a believable cloud ring, and instead just having it punch a hole in the sky.

I really think I'm gonna make a series with the realism thing, so anything from from the N64/PS1 era back and anything from the handheld games would make a pretty good variety.

Haha, that is awesome about Death Mountain, because honestly, when I looked at it, my first thought was Holy crap it looks so real! :eager:

I think it's actually quite lovely with everything in the distance; it does make it more realistic.... somehow.... As if it were some kind of candid shot, just the way there's nothing really "in-your-face" about it. It's just a photo taken from some rare vantage point where you could get a good shot of all three of those landmarks, that's all. :)

Just cool. Just cool all over. :D
